Evidence and Scientific Support

This is where things get more nuanced. Because Trimology is a commercial supplement (rather than a drug), the published evidence is limited, and many of the claims are based on ingredients known to have some effects rather than clinical trials specific to Trimology in the UK.

What I found:

The product claims to reference “Cambridge research” and “MRI evidence” in its promotional material. However, the publicly available information does not provide clear, peer-reviewed scientific trials on Trimology itself with published data (at least not that I could verify). 

Core ingredients like resistant starch (RS2), inulin, and some probiotic strains are backed in general nutritional science to have effects on gut health, insulin sensitivity, appetite regulation, short-chain fatty acid production etc. But that does not necessarily translate to guaranteed weight loss in real life, especially with a supplement alone.

Some drawbacks: resistant starch can cause digestive side effects (bloating, gas) especially when gut flora is shifting. Also, effects depend heavily on diet, calorie intake, physical activity, sleep, etc. The claim that weight loss will follow without any other changes tends to be overstated.
